Learn About the Do It Stevie’s Way 219 Foundation and Steven Bajenski

The Do It Stevie’s Way Foundation was created with three goals in mind:

1) To keep Stevie’s legacy alive in the game of baseball, at Mt. Carmel HS and in the community.

2) To educate kids on playing the game of baseball and living life the right way.

3) Give back to everything and everyone that was important to Stevie and what has become important to the Board.

Steven Michael Bajenski was born on May 8th, 1992. Stevie was a cross generational type of kid. He incorporated what he thought was the best of his great grandparents, grandparents, parents and his generation to become the incredible person he was. He taught us that life is short, and that each day is a gift. Stevie made a difference by taking care of the little things, being respectful, thankful, thoughtful and kind. He realized that nothing good is ever given and competed every day for what he wanted, whether it was in the classroom, on the baseball diamond, at home or in the community. Stevie passed away at 17 years old due to complications following heart surgery.

We invite you to become a donor or sponsor and help us support the Do It Stevie’s Way 219 causes. A few of our favorites are the Mount Carmel HS Scholarship, Steven M. Bajenski Memorial Tournament Scholarship, Cangelosi Sparks Scholarship, Suicide Awareness/NAMI, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and support families that suffer tragedies or lose children and more.
